| A new concept
in oil firing was given to the industry by manufacturing & marketing
the "IIP- ENCON FILM BURNER" which is an
ICON in the international scenario now. The scientists were honoured with
a President's Award for this Research & Development work.
These burners work on low "excess air" level
- as low as 10%.
Very lately we have developed Encon High Velocity Burner which have saved as high
as 30% in fuel costs on Non-Ferrous
Melting Furnaces.
Oil Fired Burners are manufactured in the range
from 3 Ltrs to 700 Ltrs per hour (The firing capacity is based on furnace
oil firing having 9900 K. Cal/Ltr). These multi fuel burners are used with
same efficiency levels on Kerosene, HSD, Furnace Oil and Heavy
Petroleum Stock.
Looking into our efforts into the field of
combustion a project for development of efficient Industrial Gas Burner
was ascertained to us. The project was supported by Ministry of Science
& Technology and Gas Authority of India Ltd. with Indian
Institute of Petroleum as our Technical Partners. With this, Encon
developed Gas Burners for the International Industry with the firing range
of 10 to 100 NM3/hour in different models.
The New Gas Burner concept has established
savings to the tune of upto
16% on most of the established existing
International brands.

LADLE HEATING

| We have
developed highly efficient ENCON-IIP Oil Burners and Ladle Heating
Stations. These are operating in all the major industries in India like
Lloyd Steel, Tata SSL, Mukand, JINDAL to name a few. We manufacture
hydraulically or manually operated vertical ladle heating stations and
trolley mounted horizontal ladle heating station. These are with or
without recuperators.

ENCON
RECUPERATORS

| This equipment
is our specialty and has been designed and developed by for utilisation of
waste heat from exhaust flue gases of industrial furnaces, the temperature
of flue gases is generally of the order of 600°C to 900°C. Thus a
considerable amount of heat energy, which may vary between 35 to 42% of
the heat input to the furnace goes to the atmosphere as a total loss. A
substantial part of this waste heat can be gainfully recovered by
installing ENCON recuperator, which preheats the combustion air from the
escaping flue gases to a temperature of about 350°C. This results in
recycling of waste heat back to the furnace and saves about 12-15% of fuel
oil. Normally the PAY BACK PERIOD OF INSTALLING ENCON RECUPERATOR IS
ABOUT 5-7 MONTHS.

| HOT AIR GENERATORS & HEAT STREAMS
Our AIR HEATING SYSTEM i.e. Hot Air Generators for process application
have achieved saving of around 10% of the existing designs. The combustion
flue gases exchange heat at three or more places and efficiency level is
as high as 90% against the present Hot air generators which are operating
at around 75% efficiency.

| To provide
Convective Air Heating to any process or utility or space, Encon developed
"Heat Streams". The Heat Stream is energised by a Mono Bloc Burner
which fires into a combustion chamber and the Flue Gases pass through a
Heat Exchanger before leaving the Heat Stream body. Air through
circulation fan is blown on the Heat Exchanger and Combustion Chamber.
With a quick heat transfer, the entire circulated air can be heated to the
desired temperatures. |

"RAD-HEAT" GAS HEATING
ELEMENTS

| "RAD-HEAT" Gas
Heating Elements can virtually retrofit all the Electric Heating
process at a very low cost, which pays back for itself in 90 to
180 days. The same elements can replace Thermic Fluid
Heating process or Boiler Heating process effectively with
upto 30% reduction in energy costs.
